US tech company RT-One has acquired a one-million-square-meter plot of land in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, to build an artificial intelligence data center.
The project involves a US$1.1 billion (R$6 billion) investment and aims to become the largest AI-dedicated data center in Latin America, launching powered entirely by renewable energy. Designed for extreme efficiency with a target Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.1 to 1.2, this development mirrors a sister project that RT-One is currently building in Maringá, Paraná, which is scheduled to go live next year.
