OpenAI is the tenant of the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus, which SB Energy, a SoftBank Group company, is developing near Piketon in Pike County, Ohio. In August 2026, an OpenAI affiliate signed 17 leases of 20 years each, one for each planned building. SB Energy will build, own and operate the buildings. OpenAI will run NVIDIA AI systems there, and NVIDIA guarantees part of the lease payments on the first nine buildings.
