In 2023, NextStream Data Centers acquired 11 data center facilities from Nabiax, a portfolio that included thia site in Paine, south of Santiago, Chile. This particular facility was originally a Telefónica property.

After Telefónica's initial purchase of the Paine data center, their focus was to align its network topology with their primary infrastructure. The facility can hold approximately 500 racks. Its IT power is being rolled out in two phases, with the first phase reaching 1100 kW. The Paine facility received an official design certification on February 2, 2017. This certification joined others in Telefónica's data center portfolio, including Alcalá (Tier IV Gold) and Tamburé, Ixtlahuaca, Lima, and Miami (Tier III).
