MAMaC Rifa Data Center

The Mid-Atlantic Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMaC) data center project has gained initial approval in Greensville County, Virginia. On December 10, the County Planning Commission unanimously recommended a special use permit for the development, which will be situated within the MAMaC megasite.

The proposed campus will comprise four buildings and occupy approximately 13% of the 930-acre site, with each building designed to stand no taller than 40 feet. The development includes plans for parking facilities and an electrical substation. The project's design takes advantage of existing trees surrounding the site, which will serve as a natural buffer to screen the facilities from Interstate 95 and Otterdam Road.
