Originally established in the early 2010s to serve the Danish ISP Skyline and later utilized by the web host Dandomain, the Randers facility eventually transitioned to Fuzion, where it became a cornerstone for regional disaster recovery. Its history took a major turn in September 2023 when the Finnish investment firm CapMan Infra acquired Fuzion as part of a strategic push to build a premier northern European data center platform. This evolution culminated in July 2025 with its official rebranding to Kolo DK3, transforming the site from a local colocation hub into a key node within an integrated, pan-European network focused on sovereignty, sustainability, and high-reliability compute.
