Keel Infrastructure’s (formerly Bitfarms) flagship long-term development site is located on approximately 650–750 acres in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania. Originally a waste coal-fired power plant acquired from Stronghold Digital Mining in March 2025, the site is now being redeveloped into a large-scale HPC and AI data center campus with gigawatt-scale potential.
While the legacy facility was recognized as a Tier II Alternative Energy System, Keel is advancing pre-development work, power expansion studies, and site remediation—including the full removal of the coal ash pile by September 2026—to support modern liquid-cooled AI infrastructure.
