The Galicia Green Data Center is a strategic €400 million infrastructure project set to be built in the Curtis-Teixeiro industrial park of Galicia, Spain. Conceived under the Impulsa Galicia public-private partnership and developed by Ingenostrum, its primary mission is to serve as a pivotal turning point for the digitalization of the autonomous community's business and institutional sectors.
The facility will occupy a site of 40,154 m² and represents a significant financial commitment: €130 million is allocated to the construction of the center, while the larger sum of €270 million will be invested in the essential Information Technology (IT) servers. With an initial phase investment of €51 million, the entire data center is projected to become fully operational in 2026.
Ingenostrum is a leading developer and operator of critical infrastructure, backed by a private equity firm, with a strategic focus on data centers seamlessly integrated with green energy solutions. The company delivers state-of-the-art colocation services to IT enterprises, cloud providers, and hyperscalers, prioritizing technical excellence, advanced security, and sustainability at its core.
