IDC Frontier is a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate SoftBank Group that specializes in data center operations and cloud services. The "Fukushima Shirakawa Data Center" commenced operations in Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture, which is located on the border with Tochigi Prefecture, in the southern part of the Tohoku region. The facility provides high-capacity power supply of 6 kVA or 8 kVA per rack.
It is an environmentally-friendly large-scale Data Center that combines the latest outdoor air conditioning and water-cooled air conditioning systems utilizing the cool climate. In 2015, Fukushima Shirakawa Data Center won the Good Design Award for its thorough design of a special building type and for its design that perfectly embodies engineering.
IDC Frontier is a subsidiary of the SoftBank Group that specializes in data center operations and cloud services. IDC Frontier is a DGX-Ready Data Center program partner. The company is equipped with ample electric power and cooling capacity to handle the demanding workloads of NVIDIA DGX systems, allowing them to operate at full capacity.
