HostDime, a Florida-based company, has announced a $40 million investment to build a new data center in João Pessoa, Brazil. This will be the company's third data center in the country, adding to its existing facilities in João Pessoa and São Paulo.
The new facility will be dedicated to intensive AI processing and is planned to include racks that can support up to 150 kVA. This data center features lateral connectivity for optical networks, which allows for a bandwidth of up to 800 Gbps.
Construction of the new João Pessoa site is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2027.
