The Nanto Campus is a planned gigawatt-scale data center hub in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, developed through a public-private partnership between the city and GigaStream Toyama K.K. Designed to be Japan’s third major digital cluster after Tokyo and Osaka.

The first phase, situated on 13.1 hectares in the Koinzemi area, is scheduled to begin construction in spring 2026, with operations targeted for late 2028. The site leverages Toyama’s low seismic risk and access to abundant, lower-cost power from Hokuriku Electric to support hyperscale AI and cloud workloads.
