In 2009, the the initial 3,330 sqft of data center space were built. An expansion between 2013-2015 added three mezzanine floors within one of the tall film studios, increasing the total data center capacity to 18,000 sq ft gross (approximately 10,000 sq ft of net technical space or 400 cabinets).
Maidstone Studios, built in the early 1980s, originally served as a production facility for the Southern TV regional franchise, notably hosting the filming of the beloved Basil Brush show. The current owners acquired the property in 2003, transforming it into a versatile 150,000 sq ft technical complex that houses TV studios, office spaces, restaurants, and meeting facilities.
