Brookfield: Paducah AI Campus

Site planned for 2028 and has expansions through 2032

Brookfield is developing a major AI data center campus at the Department of Energy’s former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in McCracken County, Kentucky.

Anchoring the broader Paducah American Energy Hub initiative, the landmark project repositions the historic federal uranium enrichment site into a next-generation digital infrastructure campus. To supply the facility while fully shielding local ratepayers from utility costs, NextEra Energy is constructing dedicated, site-specific power resources combining natural gas generation and battery energy storage.

Operations are scheduled to begin in 2028, with full build-out targeted by 2032.
