Bohler Places LLC has secured zoning approval to rezone 1,163 acres west of US Highway 98 to a Planned Unit Development (PUD). This rezoning allows for the construction of up to 4.4 million square feet (408,775 sqm) of data center development.

The land, currently used for cattle grazing and consisting of former phosphate mines, is owned by Florida Eco Park, LLC and Polk Industrial Park, LLC. Florida Ecopark acquired the property in 2018.
