Bluebird Underground is a carrier-neutral colocation facility built 85 feet below grade inside a former limestone mine in Springfield, Missouri. The subterranean setting provides natural physical security and free cooling — 56°F mine air is treated and recirculated, holding PUE around 1.5–1.6.

The facility spans roughly 80,000 sq ft, with about 32,000 sq ft of raised floor and more than 29,000 sq ft of leasable white space, and offers approximately 6 MW of power. Power is delivered over three diverse, primary-metered utility feeds from separate substations and backed by underground diesel generators with a lithium-ion UPS in an N+1 configuration. All power and cooling infrastructure sits below grade.

Operating to Uptime Institute Tier III standards and served by five diverse carriers — a high count for the Springfield market — it is a resilient home for state-government, regulated, and disaster-recovery workloads.
