Amazon has purchased a significant tract of land in Georgia for a potential data center. The company's subsidiary, Amazon Data Services, Inc., acquired nearly 985 acres on the west side of Interstate 75 for $270 million, with the deal closing in late July 2025.

The land was formerly part of the Legacy 75 Trade Center and was owned by High Falls 75 LLC. It is currently zoned for manufacturing and industrial development.
