In 2024, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced an investment of 15,700 million euros in Aragon over the next decade. This economic injection will be used to expand its three operational data centres in the region, located in Huesca and Zaragoza (in the municipalities of Villanueva de Gállego and El Burgo de Ebro), and to build a new development.
It is estimated that this operation will generate a total of 17,500 new jobs in Spain, of which 6,800 will be in the Aragon region.
