The Adams County Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approving a permit for the county's first commercial cryptocurrency mining data center. This facility would be built on 2.64 acres, roughly half a mile west of the CPI Hayland elevator near Prosser. To power the operation, AAIM plans to construct a 12.5-megawatt substation, connecting to Southern Power District's electrical supply.
