A1 Croatia, previously known as Vipnet, launched its €11 million data center in Zagreb in 2021. Construction of the 2,000 square meter facility commenced in October 2020, following a magnitude 5.5 earthquake in Zagreb in March of the same year, leading to a design capable of withstanding earthquakes up to magnitude 9.

The data center features an independent substation with dual power feeds and will accommodate up to 300 IT cabinets within its six technical rooms at full capacity.
