Data Center Campus
Vantage's planned Cardiff IV campus occupies the former Ford engine plant in Bridgend, Wales. Vantage plans up to 10 buildings and three substations over 10 to 15 years.
A multi-billion-pound data center campus is being planned by Vantage for the former Ford car manufacturing plant in Bridgend. The company has launched a consultation on its plans, which involve developing up to 10 buildings and three substations over a 10-15 year period.
Located west of Cardiff, the 1.3 million sq ft (120,000 sqm) site was acquired by Vantage in May 2024, following Ford's closure in 2020. Vantage intends to submit formal plans by spring and begin construction in early 2026, with development continuing in phases through 2040.
