Campus at a Glance
The Keep is Switch's Southeastern Prime campus on Switch Way (formerly Douglas Hill Road) in Lithia Springs, Douglas County, west of Atlanta. Switch announced it in May 2017 as its fourth Prime campus, with a planned $2.5 billion investment at full build-out.
Land and ownership. The campus covers about 97 acres of an industrial district next to Google's Douglas County data center. The Development Authority of Douglas County holds title under a bond-lease tax abatement, and Switch operates the campus. DigitalBridge and IFM Investors took Switch private in December 2022.
Power and infrastructure. Georgia Power serves the campus through a 230 kV substation inside the north end of the secured perimeter. Each building has its own diesel standby generator plant under Georgia EPD air permit 7375-097-0091. Switch markets the campus as 100% renewable-powered.
Milestones. In November 2020 Switch signed a global logistics company as the campus anchor tenant. Switch's KEEP 2.0 Atlanta North campus in Cartersville extends the brand north of the metro.
