Data Center Campus
The Spalding County Planning Commission has approved a proposal to rezone a 127.45-acre land parcel from residential and agricultural use to manufacturing for a new data center.
The property, owned by Spalding Investments LLC, would feature eight two-story data centers: six at 170,000 sq ft (15,793 sqm) and two at 200,000 sq ft (18,580 sqm). A power transfer station would also be built on the land. The Spalding County Water Authority will provide water and sewage, and the facility intends to use a closed-loop water system.
