NorthC: Rotterdam Zestienhoven Campus

NorthC's Rotterdam Zestienhoven campus sits on the Zestienhoven business park (Hoog16hoven) in the Overschie district of Rotterdam, next to Rotterdam The Hague Airport, with access to the A13 and A20 motorways. It comprises two adjoining data centers, Zestienhoven 1 on Tempelhof and Zestienhoven 2 on Hatostraat, on two cadastral parcels totalling about 0.85 ha.

Ownership

• Zestienhoven 1 was built for the Rabobank Bouwfonds Communication Infrastructure Fund, which sold it to The Datacenter Group (TDCG) in 2018.
• TDCG merged with NLDC under DWS in 2019 and rebranded as NorthC in 2020. The operating entity is NorthC Datacenters III B.V.
• Antin Infrastructure Partners completed its acquisition of NorthC from DWS in March 2026.

Expansion

• Rotterdam granted the permit to extend the premises in February 2021. Kuijpers began building Zestienhoven 2 against the southwest wall of the original building in March 2021.
• Zestienhoven 2 is modular. NorthC adds data halls, racks, cooling and power units as customers need them.

Infrastructure

• Medium-voltage grid connections from Stedin (23 kV per NorthC's Dutch factsheet), N+1.
• Zestienhoven 1: 2N UPS and 2N generators, direct-air cooling, Inergen gas suppression.
• Zestienhoven 2: N+1 UPS and N+1 generators, chilled water with free cooling, water-mist suppression.
• Both buildings are built to Tier 3 standards (not Uptime-certified) and run on 100% certified green power.
• NorthC joined the EnerTranS district heating project as a waste-heat source for Zestienhoven and Schiebroek.

Connectivity and tenants

• Carrier- and cloud-neutral, with A and B meet-me rooms and dual-entry fiber.
• Juvoly installed the first NVIDIA DGX B200 systems in the Netherlands here in 2025.
