Data Center Campus
Meta's Mesa data center, a five-building campus spanning over 2.5 million square feet, was announced in August 2021. This greenfield development was initially slated for completion in 2023. However, it was likely delayed due to Meta's decision to redesign facilities for artificial intelligence (AI). The data center ultimately came online in 2025.
Phase one of the 396-acre site comprises two buildings spanning 970,000 sq ft (90,000 sqm).
