Data Center Campus
Universal Planning LLC is proposing a data center campus, named the Gregory Road Data Center, in Covington, Newton County. The project is described as a data center campus encompassing multiple buildings with a total area of up to 1.41 million square feet (130,993 sqm) on an approximately 213-acre site. This development is planned alongside a 307.5-acre residential development.
The campus will be developed in three phases, with the initial phase commencing in 2027 and full build-out extending to 2036. The total potential investment in the project is estimated to be up to $5.7 billion.
