US data center firm Edged has revised its plans for the Council Bluffs, Iowa data center campus, reducing building height and footprint. The two buildings will now total 570,000 sq ft, with two owner-operated substations replacing a previously planned utility substation.
The project, code-named Project Lola, originally envisioned two 80-foot-tall data halls totaling 900,000 sq ft. After the scope reduction, each building will be 36 ft 3 in tall and 285,445 sq ft, for a combined 570,000 sq ft.
