German telecoms firm Wobcom this week announced it is expanding its data center in Wolfsburg's Nordkopf Tower by a new floor, taking its total to five floors within the building. The new floor is already leased to Host-Unlimited.de, a brand of Bieber IT GmbH focusing on cloud and game hosting.
"With this data center, we are connecting Wolfsburg with the entire world, meeting the highest possible security standards. This enables a digital future with always-available, resilient, and sustainably operated services," says Dalibor Dreznjak, managing director of Wobcom.
"We are delighted to have found a state-of-the-art hyperscaling colocation facility in Wolfsburg with Wobcom's data center, as this provides us with a professional and performance-optimized hosting environment that is carefully planned and consistently designed for efficiency, stability, and security," said Tim Bieber, managing director of Bieber IT GmbH.
