Year Planned: 2027

HOCHTIEF, a leading construction company, is investing a mid-double-digit million euro amount to build a sustainable edge data center in Brake, Germany. Spanning 10,000 square meters, the facility is designed for high energy efficiency and will utilize 100% renewable energy, primarily from local photovoltaic systems.

The data center, part of the YEXIO network, is scheduled for completion by 2027 and will feature a direct water-cooling system, sustainable timber construction, and waste heat integration into the local district heating network.
