Vantage Berlin BER1: Vantage Data Centers to build campuses in Warsaw and Berlin

As part of its ongoing $2 billion European expansion plan, Vantage Data Centers has broken ground on data center campuses in Berlin, Germany and Warsaw, Poland. As part of this expansion plan, the Company has opened facilities in locations in Wales and Germany.

The Warsaw facility dubbed the WAW1 campus will have two buildings and 390,000 square feet of space. The first facility will have 16MW of capacity, while the second facility will have 32MW of capacity. The first phase is scheduled to be completed in early 2022, and it will have 8MW of IT capacity.

The Berlin campus (BER1 campus) will have two buildings, with each having 16MW of capacity. Also, the campus will have a total floor space of 250,000 square feet. The first phase of the campus is also scheduled to be completed in early 2022, and it would have 8MW of IT capacity.

There will be renewable energy options for customers on the two campuses. The facilities will also use outside air economization for cooling. Vantage Data Centers is looking to expand in Europe, and the planned data centers in Berlin and Warsaw are a significant step towards achieving the expansion goals.
