AWS to Invest $5bn in South Korea Data Centers

Amazon Web Services (AWS) plans to invest a further $5 billion in data centers in South Korea, which will include the construction of new AI data centers in the Incheon and Gyeonggi regions.

Equinix Buys DC01UK Data Center Campus in Hertfordshire

Equinix has acquired an under-construction facility formerly known as DC01UK, situated on an 85-acre site, to create a data center with a capacity of over 250MW in Hertfordshire, UK. The company has pledged to invest £3.9 billion ($5.2 billion) in the project.

AtlasEdge Secures €253m Financing for Data Center Expansion in Lisbon, Portugal

European data center operator AtlasEdge this week announced it has secured €253 million ($294.8 million) in green financing to support the construction of the first and second buildings at the company's new campus, delivering a 21.1MW capacity across the two facilities.
