A third Yandex data center in Russia has been hit by Ukrainian drone strikes within a week, forcing the company to suspend operations at its Vladimir facility. Yandex said no one was injured, but at least 84 services were affected, with Yandex Cloud operating in limited mode. The Sasovo and Kaluga data centers were also struck earlier in the week.

The company added: "First, the main thing: all your money is safe. The money itself is not stored in the data center. Servers are located there, which ensure the operation of services. Records of each account are stored in multiple copies on different platforms. We have verified their integrity: not a single record has been lost."

Yandex is working to restore services but has not provided a timeline. Russian bot HTTP requests fell to 0.3 percent of peak levels on October 11, according to Cloudflare, before recovering to around 10 percent. Meanwhile, Russian strikes have damaged several Ukrainian data centers, including facilities operated by Parkovyi, MiroHost, Datagroup, Vodafone Ukraine, De Novo, Cosmonova, Omega Telecom, and Ukrtelecom.
