SolarWinds has announced that it has launched its Australian IT service management (ITSM) data center, to enhance performance and speed and assist customers, and demonstrate compliance with data sovereignty requirements. The launch is part of an ongoing investment in the region.

Speaking about this new addition, Sai Krishna, SolarWinds group vice president of engineering, explained that the data center meets the demand for compliance with data residency and balancing that with optimal user experience.

Further, Krishna said: “Most importantly, it offers Australian organisations greater control over their data and further improves the performance of SolarWinds Service Desk in the region. Australia is an extremely important market for SolarWinds, and we’re pleased to bring the new capability offered by our Sydney data center to the local market and our customers in Australia.”
