United Kingdom: Secure IT Environments provides the ICU of a UK hospital with a micro data center

Secure I.T. Environments, a provider of modular data centers, has delivered a micro data center to a healthcare facility in London, United Kingdom. The intensive care unit (ICU) at Barnet Hospital got the 42U Micro Data Centre 3 this past week. The encapsulated facility has a maximum load capacity of 12kW and will offer network and communication amenities for the ICU's operational side. According to the corporation, the micro data center has a "high-security specification" and is inaccessible to the general public. The installation required three days, including transferring servers and machinery to the new cabinet, wiring, and power supply setup. Micro data centers from Secure I.T. Environments include a 19" cabinet, cable management, ventilation, UPS, power, surveillance, security, and fire protection in a 40cm to 80cm wide and up to 45U tall unit.
Secure I.T. Environments provides containerized and modular data centers to the private, education, health care, and government sectors throughout the United Kingdom. In 2021 and 2022, the company delivered containerized micro data centers to Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and Johnson Service Group, as well. Additionally, the company has supplied data center modules to Proximity Data Centers' Nottingham facility. The Thurrock County Council acquired a 2,500-square-foot facility in 2019 for $719,000.
