Raxio Group has announced its plans to develop a Tier III data center in Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast). The data center will be located at the village of Innovation and Technology, 30KM from Abidjan. Raxio is developing the facility in collaboration with Master Power Technologies. The facility is scheduled to be in operation in 2023. Upon initial launch, the facility will have space for 400 racks and deliver 1.5MW of IT power. In addition, Raxio hopes to expand the data center in years to come.

Robert Mullins, CEO of Raxio Group, announced his excitement about setting up a data center in Ivory Coast. He said the company is excited to be launching in Ivory Coast as its first West African Market Beachhead. He noted that the country is a true hub in the region. In addition, Mullins said the company’s decision to build the first Tier III carrier neutral facility is strategic, furthering its expansion plans. Raxio Group operates data centers in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is also building data centers in Ethiopia and Mozambique.
