Princeton PDG MU1: Princeton Digital Group MU1 Data Center in Navi Mumbai Comes Online

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has announced the launch of its new data center in Navi Mumbai, India. This is PDG’s first data center development in the country. The facility is built on a six-acre site in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. It has a 48MW capacity across two buildings. It is also IGBC Platinum certified. According to PDG, it has invested up to $300m to bring the facility to life. MU1 will target large enterprises and hyperscalers.
The co-founder and CEO of PDG, Rangu Salgame, said: “India is one of the fastest growing data center markets in the world today and is a key focus market for PDG. The company first announced a data center in Navi Mumbai in March 2021. The data center was delivered under 20 months-ahead of its original timeline. According to MU1, the data center would be powered by up to 40% of green energy.
