Nvidia has partnered with Reliance Industries and Tata Group, India's two largest firms by market cap. The two companies will construct internal and external AI supercomputers and cloud platforms using Nvidia hardware. With Reliance, Nvidia will construct AI infrastructure "over an order of magnitude more powerful than the fastest supercomputer in India today," it said. Reliance will create its infrastructure with Nvidia GH200 Grace Hopper Superchips and DGX Cloud. Jio Infocomm will spearhead the project, building AI tools for rural farmers, including translation and weather information and AI programs and services for 450 million Jio clients.  Scientists, developers, and startups in India would have access to AI infrastructure.

That Jio-managed infrastructure "will be hosted in AI-ready computing data centers that will eventually expand to 2,000MW," Nvidia claimed.  In 2019, Ambani announced intentions to develop Microsoft Azure-partnered data centers around India. Facebook and Google have invested in Jio as it rapidly expands across India. Besides Reliance, Nvidia is working with Tata Group. It will cooperate with Tata Communications (TCS), which claims 30% of global Internet routes. TCS and Nvidia will build a GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip-powered AI supercomputer and a TCS-connected AI cloud.

TCS will train its 600,000 employees in AI and design and process generative AI applications.
