Direct-to-chip cooling specialist Accelsius has partnered with Nordik Data Centers to build an AI data center in Montreal, Canada. The company said it has more than two million sq ft (185,800 sqm) of “ready to develop land," fully equipped with infrastructure and redundant fiber connectivity.

This project will also feature a “co-innovation lab” where customers can validate performance metrics and efficiency gains of Accelsius’ cooling technology. The lab is expected to be operational in Q2 2025.

“This partnership with Nordik Data Centers represents a pivotal moment for Accelsius, as it marks our significant entry into the Canadian market,” said Josh Claman, CEO of Accelsius. “We’re excited to work with a partner like Nordik, whose commitment to sustainable and forward-looking technologies aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver advanced infrastructure for clients demanding nothing less than the best.”

Jean-Michel Picard, CEO of Nordik Data Centers, added: “This project sets a new standard in Quebec and represents the first step in our vision to deliver data centers differently - with a step change in sustainability that our industry desperately needs.”
