Solvay has received a containerized data center module from the French company Modul'Data Center. Modul, along with Rosenberger OSI and Eaton, recently delivered the container-sized module, as first reported by DCmag.fr. Remy Febvre, CEO of Modul's parent company IPenergy, stated on LinkedIn that Solvay had ordered three of these modules. There are multiple Solvay locations in France, and it is unknown where the modules were deployed.

Modul'Data Center, a subsidiary of network services provider IPenergy founded in 2006, provides containerized data centers of varying capacities and related services. According to the company, its prefabricated Modul' Room modular data center can be delivered in four to six months and offers a PUE as low as 1.03 at densities between 5 and 40 kW.

Solvay is a Belgian chemical corporation that provides materials to various industries, including aerospace, construction, electronics & batteries, automobiles, food, and healthcare, among others.
