Polish telecommunications company, Korbank has revealed that it won’t be completing the construction of its Wroclaw data center till later. The data center was scheduled to be completed this month, but the date has been shifted to June of this year. The delay is happening because Korbank wants to add three extra floors to the facility. The original plan was to have a three-story 16,150 square feet (1,500 square meters) data center costing PLN 8.2 million ($1.9 million).
However, the facility will now be doubled to 32.300 square feet (3,000 square meters) due to increased customer demands. The company will now be investing 13.1 million ($3 million) in the development of the new specification. Korbank adjusted the specifications of the data center after it saw its revenue rise 25% in the third quarter of last year.
