KAO Data: Kao Data is Developing a 10MW Facility in Harlow, UK

Kao Data has revealed plans for another building at its Harlow campus in the UK. The company says it has started working on the second 10MW facility at the campus. Kao said KLON-02 would offer about 1,800 racks across 3,400 square meters of technical space and four data halls. In addition, the data center will be Nvidia DGX-Ready certified. It will also have a PUE of 1.2. Kao also revealed that it would use 100% green energy. Its backup generators will also be powered by hydrotreated vegetable oil.

The CEO of Kao Data, Lee Myall, said the expansion of its Harlow campus is another great milestone in the company’s evolution. He added that the second 10MW data center in Harlow shows the company’s commitment to bringing world-class colocation capacity to London. The company was launched in 2015. The Harlow campus was also opened in 2018. Kao revealed that the campus would offer 35MW capacity across four phases.
