Since the need for data storage and processing capacity and traffic levels continues to rise, Angola Cables, a provider of wholesale telecom services, data centers, and interconnectivity, is extending its infrastructure in Brazil and broadening its business portfolio. As part of the company's expanded efforts in South America, specifically Brazil, its regional operations have been rebranded as TelCables Brasil, and Claudio Florindo has been appointed country manager. The corporation also has plans to focus on cloud computing, digital solutions, and security solutions.

Monet is the name of the cable that connects Brazil and the United States, and South Atlantic Cable System (SACS) is the name of the cable that connects Brazil and Africa. Both cables are operated by the company either directly or as part of a consortium. In addition, the company operates data centers in Brazil, the United States of America, Europe, and Africa. The company's fiber ring connects Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago.
