Element Critical has announced that it has expanded its Houston One data center. The expansion comes one year after it acquired the facility. The expansion sees the company add two new data halls to the data center building located at 22000 Franz Rd in Katy. The expansion also saw Element Critical add 20,000 square feet of colocation space to the data center.
The CEO of Element Critical, Ken Parent, said the company is excited to be serving a diverse range of customers accepting the wave of digital transformation. He added that: "The flexibility of Houston One's customizable design continues to attract interest from the diverse base of Houston area companies that require high-touch customer service and a proven track record of mission-critical operational excellence."
Element Critical acquired the data center from Skybox Datacenters in March 2021. The facility now has a capacity of 32MW.
