Dutch Data Center Firm Penta Infra Secures €75 million in Funding

Penta Infra has announced that it has raised €75 million ($83.5m) in a financing deal tied to sustainability targets. Penta Infra is a Dutch data center firm with a focus on European data centers. It has facilities in Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands. Penta owns 11 data centers across these countries. It has facilities in Hamburg, Berlin (2), Leipzig, Cologne, and Düsseldorf, totaling 21MW in capacity. It also owns and operates three facilities in the Netherlands with a combined capacity of 2MW. Its single data center in Copenhagen, Denmark, also has a 2MW capacity.

The sustainability targets attached to the financing deal include heat recovery, energy efficiency, and on-site power generation. It will also use part of the funds to expand across Europe. Penta’s sole lender for the financing round is Dutch bank ABN AMRO. Dentons was also the company’s adviser on the financing.

Penta Infra has 13 sites.
