DTiX, a French data center operator, is constructing a major data center in Chalon-sur-Saône, France. The company is constructing a second facility in the Saône-et-Loire department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. There will be enough for 100 racks in two data rooms spanning around 7,000 square feet. The opening is scheduled for the end of June 2023. Per the La Tribune and Traces Ecreites News, the company broke construction on the Tier III-compliant project in December and will invest approximately $4 million.

DTiX now operates one plant in the Dijon neighborhood of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, which debuted in September 2020. The building can accommodate 120 computer racks in its three data rooms, which total 4,850 square feet. The occupancy rate at the Dijon site is allegedly at 35%, although the company wishes to provide more redundancy choices.
