DC BLOX: DC Blox plans new campus outside Atlanta

US operator DC Blox announced this week that it had acquired 72 acres of land in Conyers, southeast of Atlanta in Rockdale County, Georgia, for a new data center campus. Once completed, this facility will feature 750,000 square feet (69,675 sqm) of space with 216MW of total power committed by Georgia Power.
Jeff Uphues, CEO of DC Blox said, “DC Blox’s ability to build vertically integrated infrastructure solutions including data centers and dark fiber networks is proving to be an important differentiator for our customers. We have built a reputation for the development of cutting-edge colocation data centers, cable landing stations, and fiber networks across the Southeast, so we are well-positioned to meet the rigorous requirements of hyperscalers and AI/ML platform and application providers.”
Dr. Stephen Bovle, chairman of the Development Authority of Rockdale County added, "A focus shared by each member of the Authority is to achieve thoughtful and impactful growth that reflects positively within our community and the region.
