The government of Hämeenlinna this week announced that a reservation agreement has been made for three business plots in Hämeenlinna's MORE industrial park for a data center project.
“Our goal is to ensure that a modern data center is built in Hämeenlinna, utilizing clean energy and advanced heat recovery solutions. We are currently looking for an internationally experienced operator who shares these goals,” Pedersen said.
“The project strengthens Hämeenlinna's position as a hub for sustainable industry and digital infrastructure. In cooperation with the owners and the future operator, we can bring investments, jobs, and expertise to the area – responsibly and while strengthening local vitality," added Ari Räsänen, director, location services at Linnan Kehitys Oy, Hämeenlinna’s business development company.
