Compass Mining Energizes 7.5MW Site in Minnesota

Bitcoin mining and infrastructure services provider Compass Mining has energized a new 7.5MW site in Minnesota named Minnesota 2. It will be Compass's second facility in Minnesota, and the 23rd facility run by the company across the US and Canada.

Compass Mining will be responsible for operating the site and implementing the agreed power strategy, while providing on-site and remote monitoring.

“Minnesota 2’ reflects our focus on dependable operations and meaningful customer choice,” said Karoon Mackenchery, director of hosting services at Compass Mining. “By operating the site directly, we can deliver a better experience and offer more options aligned with customers’ mining strategies."
