CloudHQ will begin construction of its 276MW data center in Germany next year. Located in the Frankfurt-Hochst industrial park, which is west of Frankfurt's city center, the facility will cover 217,000 sqm (2.3 million sq ft) across three buildings, each of which will offer 96MW of capacity.
As one of Europe’s FLAPD markets, Frankfurt is well known as a prominent data center hub. Germany does have other data center hotspots clustered around its other main cities, but Frankfurt remains the largest.
US-based CloudHQ also operates data centers across America, EMEA, and APAC, and the company states it has more than 5.2GW of global data center inventory.
