Australian Data Centres (ADC) this week announced the acquisition of a new data center campus in the Fyshwick area of Canberra, as it works to expand its footprint across Australia.
“It strengthens our ability to meet increasing demand for secure, high-availability facilities that underpin government and enterprise digital services,” said ADC CEO Mark Pont. “The new site has been fully integrated into our existing operations, has been Certified Strategic under the Hosting Certification Framework, and provides additional optionality and redundancy. Our priority is to provide customers with differentiated options in Canberra and at growth sites across Australia.”
“ADC has growth plans for this data center campus, with a significant capital works program now underway to uplift the capacity of the facility,” ADC CEO Pont added to ARN.
