Aslan Energy Capital, a Singaporean renewable developer, has partnered with the Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP), Indonesia’s first industrial estate, to develop a 40MW data center in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The facility will be primarily powered by renewable energy and will integrate a 120MW Battery Energy Storage System. The renewable power is expected to be sourced through the JIEP partnership.
Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Muthu Chezhian, CEO of Aslan Energy Capital, said: "This partnership reflects our shared vision to power the digital future with clean, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that respects environmental limits while enabling economic transformation."
