Per a Realla listing, developers are offering a 43-acre land for lease or sale for data center development in Cambridgeshire, UK. The Camro Data Park available is located in the Elean Business Park. According to confirmed reports, the Data Park has planning permission for 700,000 square feet (65,000 square meters) of data center buildings. In addition, approval has been made for the rapid development of 9MW, 89,910 square feet data center.
Development of the subsequent data center phase at the site will be delivered in phases.
Furthermore, an on-site substation has been installed at the site. The substation will deliver 6MVA. It will also deliver an extra 19MVA at a later date. Adams Group Real Estate’s David Adams noted that the Camro Data Park gained permission for a new configuration. He also said there’s another 50-acre site adjacent the Camro Park. In light of this, there’s a potential that we’ll see up to 90 acres of data center development at the site.
Currently, available plans show that up to four data center buildings are being planned on the site. There will be two single-story buildings with 7,970 spanning 7,970 square meters each. The other two buildings will be two stories, offering 14,320 square meters each.
